Outreach marks milestone with 25th #ORNKnowledge session featuring Full-Day Workshop

Mumbai: Outreach celebrated a significant milestone with the 25th edition of its #ORNKnowledge series, hosting a full-day workshop at Vivanta Kathmandu. This landmark event brought together over 50 accomplished brand marketers representing Nepal’s leading global and domestic brands to discuss and explore strategies for “Uncomplicating Brand Strategy.”

Facilitated by Shahriar Rahman and Nazia Hasnat from Bangladesh-based Strategy Central, the workshop offered an in-depth examination of branding fundamentals. With their expertise in brand consulting, Rahman and Hasnat guided participants through critical strategic questions to unlock creative insights and actionable strategies.

Key Takeaways from the Workshop

Participants engaged in exercises centered around core branding fundamentals, addressing pivotal questions such as:

  • Who is the brand targeting?
  • What are we really selling?
  • What’s the brand’s personality?
  • What is the extendible idea that captures the brand’s spirit?

To foster creativity and collaboration, attendees were divided into groups to brainstorm innovative approaches to promoting MOMO, Nepal’s iconic dish. The session highlighted the diverse perspectives and creative potential of Nepal’s marketing professionals.

Ujaya Shakya, Founder of Outreach, inaugurated the session by underscoring the importance of revisiting branding basics, “#ORNKnowledge is a platform to share marketing best practices and learnings. Today’s full-day workshop provides an opportunity to simplify complex branding concepts with the expertise of Shahriar and Nazia. This session will undoubtedly sharpen our focus and equip us with a fresh approach for future campaigns.”

At the conclusion of the workshop, Shahriar Rahman lauded the participants’ enthusiasm and creativity, stating, “This has been one of the most energetic and creative groups I have worked with. The ideas shared today highlight the immense potential of Nepal’s marketing minds. I look forward to further contributing to the growth of Nepal’s brand marketing ecosystem.”

The #ORNKnowledge series, initiated by Outreach, has become a cornerstone for learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing in Nepal’s marketing and creative industries. The 25th session reaffirmed its commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and best practices within the industry.

By empowering marketing professionals with tools and insights from industry experts, Outreach is helping shape the future of Nepal’s branding and marketing ecosystem, ensuring it remains a dynamic and innovative space for years to come.
