Noida: PwC India has inaugurated its Advanced Innovation and Technology Hub (AITH) in Noida as part of its Vision 2030 strategy, strengthening its technology-enabled delivery model and expanding its talent footprint beyond metropolitan cities.
The new hub is designed to support complex, delivery-intensive client engagements by bringing together sector expertise, digital capabilities, methodologies and execution teams under a scalable operating model. The company said the initiative reflects its focus on investing in technology, innovation and workforce development while building delivery capabilities closer to emerging talent centres.
“AITH represents the next phase in how PwC India delivers value at scale. It brings together our talent, methodologies, digital assets, and specialised capabilities into an integrated model that strengthens consistency, speed, and quality across complex, technology-enabled engagements. As India’s growth story expands beyond metros, AITH will play a significant role in building deeper delivery capabilities while creating meaningful career pathways for talent across emerging locations,” said Sanjeev Krishan, Chairperson, PwC in India.
The Noida facility is part of PwC India’s broader strategy to establish next-generation centres of excellence capable of supporting large-scale transformation programmes. According to the firm, the hub will help accelerate project delivery, improve operational efficiency and enable closer integration across consulting, solutioning and execution functions.
PwC India also said the initiative aligns with its plans to expand hiring beyond major urban centres by tapping talent in Tier II and Tier III cities.
“AITH is a significant investment in India’s talent story. By expanding into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, we aim to open access to new talent pools, create structured long-term delivery careers, and build specialised capabilities closer to emerging economic centres,” mentioned Vivek Prasad, Chief People Officer, PwC India. “The move is supported by improved infrastructure, stronger digital connectivity, and maturing local ecosystems that make these cities favourable for high-quality professional services delivery,” Prasad added.
Launched last year, PwC India’s Vision 2030 roadmap targets tripling the firm’s revenues and expanding its workforce to 50,000 employees by creating an additional 20,000 jobs over the next five years. The strategy is supported by investments in technology, AI-led delivery, learning and capability building.
The company said AITH will play a key role in advancing its decentralised growth model while supporting clients through technology-enabled delivery and contributing to broader workforce development. As part of the next phase of expansion, PwC India plans to establish similar Advanced Innovation and Technology Hubs in Bhubaneswar and Kolkata.
