JerHigh and Hashtag Orange launch impactful campaign to support stray welfare and pet adoption

Mumbai: This Valentine’s Day, JerHigh, a dog treats and pet care brand under Charoen Pokphand Foods, teamed up with Hashtag Orange to launch a heartfelt campaign with a powerful message—”When You Treat ‘Em Right, Love Shows.” The campaign aims to raise awareness about the growing issue of stray animals in India, emphasizing the importance of compassion, responsible pet parenting, and adoption.

The initiative, launched on February 7, not only focuses on the love and devotion shared between pets and their owners, but also highlights the need for kindness towards stray animals and the urgent necessity for pet adoption. The campaign also features the Project Paw-tner initiative, designed to promote responsible pet care and facilitate the adoption of stray animals across the country.

On February 14, the campaign took to the streets, with volunteers feeding stray dogs, distributing nutritious treats, and actively encouraging the public to adopt stray dogs. The initiative saw some of India’s top pet influencers coming together to spread the message of responsible pet parenting and the importance of adopting rather than purchasing.

“Every act of kindness has the power to transform a stray’s life,” said Pankaj Khatri, Founder of Sai International Pet Products Pvt. Ltd. “I’ve witnessed firsthand how a simple gesture of love and care can change a scared, hungry puppy. At JerHigh, we believe every animal deserves love and affection – which is why initiatives like Project Paw-tner are the beginning of making a difference.”

JerHigh and Hashtag Orange are not only raising awareness but are also simplifying the adoption process by linking potential pet parents with NGOs and rescue groups that work tirelessly to provide shelter and care for stray animals. Their collective goal is to reduce overcrowding in shelters and help as many stray animals as possible find loving homes.

“This isn’t just a brand campaign—it’s about making a difference,” said Amit Shankar, Co-Founder and CCO of Hashtag Orange. “We want people to adopt, foster, and show kindness to animals in need.”

Mukesh Vij, Founder of Hashtag Orange, added, “The whole Hashtag Orange team is excited to collaborate with JerHigh on this campaign to amplify and share the message that when you treat ‘em right, love shows.”
