Pune: Mercedes-Benz India has announced the appointment of Brendon Sissing as the new Vice President – Sales & Marketing, effective 1st August 2025. Brendon will succeed Lance Bennett, who has moved on to assume the role of Chief Financial Officer at Mercedes-Benz Middle East.

Welcoming the leadership transition, Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, stated, “We are excited to welcome Brendon Sissing as the Head of Sales & Marketing for Mercedes-Benz India. Brendon takes over the responsibility from Lance Bennett, who has joined Mercedes-Benz Middle East as the CFO. Brendon brings rich experience from the world of financing and insurance, as he successfully steered Mercedes-Benz Financial Service India, doubling its portfolio, driving record profit and business transformation, while elevating the integrated customer journey. We are confident Brendon will continue the growth momentum of Mercedes-Benz in this highly diverse, and dynamic Indian luxury car market. We thank Lance for his immense contribution and wish them both, the very best in their respective new roles.”
Currently serving as the Head of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services India, Brendon has played a pivotal role in accelerating the company’s growth strategy, driving business transformation, and creating a seamless online-offline customer journey. Under his leadership, the financial services arm doubled its portfolio, achieved record profitability, and improved the Dealer Loyalty Index.
Brendon is widely recognised for his deep credit risk knowledge, strong advocacy for digital transformation, and sharp focus on customer experience, stakeholder value, and team development. With a passion for innovation, he has successfully led several initiatives that mirror Mercedes-Benz’s premium positioning and future-ready strategy.
Before joining Mercedes-Benz Financial Services India in 2022, Brendon held key leadership positions across Mercedes-Benz South Africa, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, and Daimler Mobility AG, Stuttgart. His roles included heading Credit Operations, Key Accounts, and strategic risk and sales functions. As a founding member of Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd in 2012, he played a foundational role in shaping its policies, systems, and products.
Brendon holds a B.Tech degree in Cost & Management Accounting from Technikon Pretoria, a Diploma in Credit Management, and has completed several international leadership courses. A South African national, Brendon has lived and worked across Malaysia, South Africa, Germany, and India. Outside of work, he is a rugby enthusiast and a passionate foodie who enjoys travelling with his wife and two children.
With this strategic leadership appointment, Mercedes-Benz India aims to further strengthen its sales and marketing roadmap in a fast-evolving luxury automotive market and continue its commitment to customer-centric excellence.
