Netflix appoints Nikita Aneja to its Talent Team

Mumbai: Netflix has announced the appointment of Nikita Aneja to its Talent team, where she will play a key role in advancing the company’s dynamic talent agenda—focused on building high-performing teams and nurturing a bold, creative culture that fuels storytelling at scale.

A seasoned HR leader with over a decade of experience across media, entertainment, financial services, and automotive sectors, Nikita joins Netflix after impactful stints at JioHotstar and Viacom18.

At JioHotstar, she led HR for the Ads business, playing a pivotal role in bringing together the Revenue function post-merger. Prior to that, as Head – HR, Sports at Viacom18, she was instrumental in building and scaling the HR charter for the company’s sports vertical—from laying the foundation of JioCinema’s sports arm to managing its post-merger integration with Disney Star. Her work was central to transforming Viacom18 Sports into a key player in India’s live sports and digital content ecosystem.

Nikita has also held strategic HR leadership positions at Disney Star, Edelweiss, Tata Motors, and Godrej, focusing on people strategy, leadership development, and business partnering.

She holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Goa Institute of Management and a BBA from Jai Hind College, Mumbai.

Her appointment underscores Netflix’s continued investment in cultivating talent-led growth as it expands its global and India content operations.
