Shell launches ‘Unleash the Power Within’ campaign featuring Ferrari’s Leclerc and Hamilton

New Delhi: Shell India has announced the launch of its upgraded premium motor oil, Shell Helix Ultra, now engineered to meet the advanced 2025 API SQ Standard. The milestone coincides with the debut of Shell’s new global campaign in India, ‘Unleash the Power Within’, featuring Scuderia Ferrari HP drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton for the first time. The campaign underscores Shell’s iconic 75-year partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP.

The launch also introduced a bold new packaging design across the Shell Helix lubricant range, reinforcing the brand’s evolving identity and its focus on innovation and excellence.

At the core of this upgrade is Shell’s exclusive PurePlus Technology, which transforms natural gas into 99.5% pure base oil, delivering:

  • Up to 1.8% more engine power
  • 3.4% improved responsiveness
  • 100% engine power retention
    The result is a smoother drive, improved fuel economy, and long-term engine health.

Amit Ghugre, Chief Marketing Officer, Shell India Lubricants, said, “This launch marks a defining moment for Shell Lubricants in India. With Shell Helix Ultra now meeting the advanced 2025 API SQ standard and our bold new packaging design hitting the shelves, we are celebrating two major milestones that reflect our commitment to innovation and customer centricity. We are incredibly excited about this new chapter because today, we are not just unveiling a more powerful product; we are celebrating partnerships, performance, and progress.”

The new packaging combines sleek, modern design with enhanced functionality to improve on-shelf impact, simplify product navigation, and enhance consumer convenience. The refreshed look also underscores Shell Helix’s trusted collaborations with Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motors, Nissan Motor Corporation, and BMW M Motorsports.

The India launch was marked by a two-day event featuring automotive enthusiasts, opinion leaders, and customers. Highlights included a live Ferrari pit stop demonstration, an exclusive BMW M Motorsports driving experience, and interactive fan engagement zones.

For the 18th consecutive year, Shell has retained its position as the world’s No. 1 lubricant supplier, a testament to its consistent innovation and superior quality. With this upgraded Shell Helix range, the company reaffirms its commitment to powering journeys on the track and beyond.
