PunToon Kids launches Learning-Through-Play App, crosses 1 lakh downloads in a month

Mumbai: PunToon Kids has announced the launch of the PunToon Kids Games App, which has already crossed 1,05,000 organic downloads within a month on the Android Play Store. Known for its family-friendly YouTube animation content, the brand is now expanding into interactive edutainment with an app that blends fun and learning in a safe digital space.

Designed for children aged 3 and above, the app features the flagship characters Gattu and Chinki, offering storytelling-driven games that encourage logical thinking, memory retention, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and problem-solving. Reinforcing its credibility, the app has earned the Google Play Teacher Approved Badge, is COPPA compliant, and incorporates multiple levels of authentication to ensure safety.

Speaking on the launch, Sourabh Kumar, CEO and Founder, PunToon Kids, said, “At PunToon Kids, we believe that fun and learning are inseparable. Guided by our 3C philosophy—Culture, Curriculum, and Curiosity—we aim to nurture young minds in a way that celebrates Indian values, supports structured learning, and sparks imagination. The PunToon Kids Games App embodies this approach, ensuring that children not only enjoy themselves but also develop important life skills and values through play.”

The app offers a simple subscription model at ₹699/year (₹58/month), unlocking premium access to exclusive games, alongside free content for all users.

With this launch, PunToon Kids cements its evolution from a YouTube-led storytelling platform into a holistic edutainment ecosystem, while also opening up brand collaboration opportunities in a parent-trusted, child-safe environment.
