Indriya by Aditya Birla Jewellery launches regional bridal lines for India’s brides
Share Share ShareShare

Mumbai: Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewellery, has announced the launch of its exquisite regional bridal collections crafted for brides across Rajasthan, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Designed for women who proudly carry their heritage and dream of their perfect wedding moment, the collections translate India’s artistic legacies into contemporary bridal masterpieces that embody strength, grace, and timeless tradition.

The new lineup features four region-specific collections — Anantara, Padma Ranjini, Raasvi, and Rajashree — each deeply inspired by the cultural and architectural heritage of its respective geography.

Anantara, created for brides in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka, draws from sacred Dravidian sculptures and Hoysala temple art, particularly the Chennakeshava and Keshava temples in Somanathapura. Designed in three layers, the collection tells a divine story centered around Lord Vishnu. The Garuda Haar unites classic Kaasu Maala and Jalebi Haar motifs; the Ganesha Puliguru Haar pays tribute to Lord Ganesha; and the Lakshmi Bottu Mala honours Goddess Lakshmi.

Padma Ranjini, crafted for Rajasthani brides, reimagines the state’s architectural and artistic legacy into a modern heirloom set. The Padma Aad takes inspiration from the City Palace’s Padma Gate with lotus motifs and Pichwai elements; the Timaniya layer features elephants and peacocks with intricate jadai work; and the Hamel layer brings talismanic motifs such as taveez, coins and pankhi into a contemporary expression of heritage.

Rajashree, designed for Maharashtra, captures the state’s royal craftsmanship. The Vajratik Haar features the iconic Chandrakor Tilak of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the Simha Haar includes the majestic lion emblem alongside a Bor Mala, and the Saaj Haar binds the ensemble with symbolic elements reflecting dharma, destiny, and the ten avatars of Vishnu.

Raasvi, created for the vibrant traditions of Gujarat, showcases the region’s artistry through three distinct layers — the Chandan Haar with architectural pendants, the Jhalar inspired by temple carvings and floral motifs, and the Jhumna Haar, which brings together traditional Kalighati work, the Pankhi motif, and ruby jadai.

Speaking on the launch, Sandeep Kohli, CEO, Indriya, said, “With these collections, we are honouring the rich heritage of our country, bringing its culture to life through jewellery inspired by its regal artistry. Our aim is to deepen Indriya’s connection with brides who cherish authenticity and craftsmanship. These collections is a step towards making Indriya the most trusted destination for bridal jewellery across India.”

Shantiswarup Panda, Head of Marketing & Visual Merchandizing, Indriya, added, “The day of marriage across Indian sub-cultures remains the purest expression of one’s culture and celebration of rich heritage. Every woman cherishes a dream of being a bride of a certain kind much before the chosen man walks into her life, a bride who indulges in celebration of her heritage. These collections brings dreams to life through rich storytelling that blends heritage with individuality. With this collection, Indriya invites every bride to connect with her culture reflected in design and make it her own with endless love.”

Abhishek Rastogi, Head of Design, Indriya, said, “Our vision was to capture the soul of India’s heritage through design. These collections blend traditional craftsmanship and contemporary elegance, with intricate kaarigari that showcases the skilled artistry of their regions, reflecting the emotion, symbolism, and enduring spirit of the region in every exquisite detail.”
