TVF marks Doctor’s Day with three-film digital series celebrating the human side of doctors

Mumbai: TVF is celebrating Doctor’s Day with the launch of a three-part digital film series that moves beyond conventional hospital narratives to spotlight the relatable, emotional and often humorous experiences that shape the lives of doctors.

Featuring Ahsaas Channa and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, the series presents doctors not as supporting characters in medical dramas but as central figures navigating everyday moments, personal struggles and meaningful milestones.

The campaign captures experiences ranging from the anxiety of stepping into the profession for the first time to balancing personal relationships while managing the realities of medical life.

The first film, “First Day as a Doctor,” follows Dr. Shivangi, played by Ahsaas Channa, as she faces the emotional intensity of her first shift at a hospital. Confronted with difficult decisions, self-doubt and the pressure of responsibility, the story reflects the internal journey many young medical professionals experience. Guided by a senior doctor and encouraged to move forward, the film closes with a simple yet resonant message: “It’s not easy. But it’s worth it.”

The second film, “Date With a Doctor,” takes a lighter approach, following two doctors attempting to enjoy a regular date while repeatedly being pulled back into conversations shaped by their profession. The narrative blends humour and relatability to highlight how deeply healthcare becomes intertwined with personal life.

The final instalment, “AI Paglu Patient,” set to release soon, shifts into comedy and explores the increasingly familiar dynamics between doctors and patients through an exaggerated yet recognisable interaction.

Created in collaboration with Knya, the series reflects a shared effort to portray doctors through stories grounded in everyday realities rather than idealised portrayals.

Through the campaign, TVF seeks to acknowledge the profession not only for its seriousness and responsibility but also for the humour, vulnerability and humanity that define the people behind the white coats.
