Sintex celebrates 50 years as Premier Partner of WPL 2026 with engaging fan activations

Mumbai: Sintex BAPL, part of the Welspun World and Premier Partner of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026, is marking its 50-year milestone with a series of immersive on-ground and broadcast-led activations that celebrate the brand’s legacy of trust, reliability, and innovation.

As Sintex commemorates five decades of presence in Indian households, its association with WPL reflects a shared journey of evolution and progress. Much like women’s cricket, which has grown from the margins to the mainstream, Sintex’s growth has been defined by consistency, innovation, and providing solutions that support and safeguard families across India.

Commenting on the activations, Yashovardhan Agarwal, Managing Director, Welspun BAPL and Director, Sintex, said, “As Sintex completes 50 years, we wanted our presence at WPL to go beyond visibility and create moments that fans can truly connect with and remember, because in India, cricket has a unique way of bringing people together. By celebrating women’s cricket and inclusivity, leveraging the league’s reach and building on the shared love for cricket we want to commemorate the values of consistency, resilience, and trust that have defined our journey over the last five decades.”

At the heart of Sintex’s WPL 2026 presence is a creative alignment with cricket itself. During every match, when the first team reaches a 50-run milestone, the moment will be highlighted through a dedicated commentator cue and brand integration, symbolically linking one of cricket’s most celebrated achievements with Sintex’s 50-year legacy.

On ground and on screen, Sintex will feature on virtual pitch map integrations across match analytics and broadcast visuals. Marking its golden jubilee, Sintex will also launch a new advanced water storage tank with an industry-first 50-year warranty, engineered for enhanced hygiene and long-term durability — reinforcing the brand’s commitment to reliability and innovation.

Yashovardhan Agarwal added, “For decades, almost every Indian at some point in their lives, in some way or the other has come across a Sintex tank and that shared familiarity is what will help us create authentic and memorable moments on the screen.”

Through these activations, Sintex aims to turn match moments into meaningful brand experiences, connecting with fans in ways that are natural, celebratory, and rooted in the spirit of the game.
