Mumbai: Bank of India (BoI), a public sector bank, has appointed Concept Public Relations (CPR) as its corporate communications partner, with immediate effect. The partnership will focus on strengthening the bank’s communications strategy, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and shaping a consistent and impactful narrative across platforms.
Under the mandate, CPR will facilitate live and virtual interactions, press announcements, authored articles, and other communications related to the banking sector and the bank’s initiatives. The collaboration aims to create a financially astute society by sharing valuable insights with stakeholders.
Bank of India, established on 7 September 1906 and nationalised in 1969, has grown into a trusted financial institution with a strong domestic and international presence. In India, BoI operates over 5,300 branches across all states and Union Territories, supported by 69 Zonal Offices and 13 Field General Manager Offices (FGMOs). Globally, the bank maintains 47 branches and offices, including 22 overseas branches, one representative office, four subsidiaries with 23 branches, and one joint venture.
Rajneesh Karnatak, Managing Director & CEO of Bank of India since April 29, 2023, brings over 31 years of experience across branch and administrative banking, credit monitoring, digital banking, and corporate credit. He has also led credit review and corporate credit divisions at Punjab National Bank and is a Certified Associate from the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
CPR will work closely with BoI to highlight the bank’s initiatives, industry insights, and key developments, strengthening its engagement with customers, media, and stakeholders across India and internationally.
