Bengaluru: As India’s electric mobility sector accelerates toward large-scale adoption, NewsFirst has launched EVready, a consumer-focused electric mobility expo aimed at bringing industry stakeholders and the public onto a shared platform.
Positioned as Karnataka’s largest EV Expo, EVready is supported by the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) and seeks to connect manufacturers, policymakers, industry bodies and consumers at a pivotal stage in India’s clean mobility transition.
The three-day B2C exhibition will be held from 21 to 23 February 2026 at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, with free entry for visitors. Organisers say the platform is designed to combine policy dialogue with direct consumer engagement to accelerate adoption across segments.
India’s EV market has moved beyond pilot phases and limited adoption cycles, now driven by policy alignment, capital investments, localisation efforts and rising consumer acceptance across two-wheelers, passenger vehicles and commercial fleets. As the ecosystem matures, platforms that bridge industry capability with consumer awareness are gaining strategic importance.
Broad Industry Participation
Leading electric mobility OEMs participating in the expo include Tata Motors (Tata EV and Tata Commercial Vehicles), Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, Ashok Leyland, Switch Mobility, Kia India, JSW MG Motor India and TVS Motor Company.
The line-up also features charging infrastructure providers, battery manufacturers and component suppliers, reflecting the breadth of India’s EV value chain.
A dedicated on-ground Test Drive Zone will allow visitors to experience electric two-wheelers and four-wheelers in controlled conditions, offering hands-on exposure to vehicle performance, safety features and operating economics. The expo will also feature daily lucky draws offering electric two-wheelers as prizes for registered attendees, alongside exclusive spot-booking discounts.
The event will receive amplification across NewsFirst’s television and digital platforms, ensuring sustained visibility for participating brands across Karnataka.
Karnataka’s Growing EV Footprint
Karnataka has emerged as a key EV market and manufacturing base, with Bengaluru attracting startups, battery technology ventures and clean mobility innovators. The exhibition will showcase electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles and commercial mobility solutions, alongside public transport electrification initiatives, fleet applications and cargo solutions.
Unlike closed-door industry forums, EVready is structured as a public platform, allowing direct interaction between manufacturers and consumers.
Policy and the Road Ahead
In addition to product displays, the expo will host structured discussions on national policy, adoption barriers, infrastructure gaps, sustainability and long-term ecosystem development.
Industry bodies such as the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) will participate in policy and industry dialogues.
Sessions will cover India’s electric mobility roadmap, market readiness, urban sustainability in Bengaluru, myths versus realities around EV ownership, and future opportunities in education, skill development and industry-academia collaboration. A concluding discussion will focus on the Government of Karnataka’s strategy to accelerate EV deployment at the state level.
As India advances toward its Viksit Bharat 2047 ambitions, coordinated action between government, industry and environmentally conscious consumers will be critical to scaling electric mobility. EVready aims to serve as a catalytic platform for that engagement while reinforcing Karnataka’s leadership in India’s transition toward cleaner transportation.
