Mumbai: Invideo, an AI-powered video creation platform, has announced the acquisition of GoBo Labs, the award-winning Indian AI creative studio founded by Hridaye Ashish Nagpal, Vishal Balsara, and Nishant Tahilramani.
The company clarified that the acquisition is not an expansion into agency or production services but a strategic move to build the next generation of Invideo’s creator platform by integrating insights from filmmakers who have pioneered AI-first storytelling workflows.
Pioneering AI-First Filmmaking
GoBo Labs is recognised as one of India’s earliest AI-driven creative studios, introducing AI-first filmmaking workflows that blend animatics, visual effects and narrative storytelling with emerging creation tools. The studio has delivered campaigns for brands including Hindustan Times, Lux, Vaseline, Gulf Oil, Fabelle and Mahindra, positioning itself at the intersection of creative storytelling and next-generation technology.
With GoBo joining Invideo, the platform aims to embed a creator-centric, experimentation-led mindset into its product roadmap, accelerating innovation for global users.
“GoBo has expanded the boundaries of what creators can achieve with AI,” said Sanket Shah, Co-Founder & CEO of Invideo. “Their creative intuition, paired with our technology, unlocks a future where storytelling becomes faster, richer, and more accessible to every creator in the world.”
Building the Future of Creative Collaboration
Founded on the belief that AI should enhance rather than replace human creativity, GoBo Labs has championed a creator-first philosophy grounded in storytelling craft and visual experimentation.
“We’ve always believed that AI isn’t replacing creators – it’s amplifying them,” said Hridaye Ashish Nagpal, Founder of GoBo Labs. “Joining Invideo allows us to take that belief global – to build the platform we’ve always wished existed as filmmakers.”
“With Invideo, it’s about building the future we always wanted as creators,” said Vishal Balsara, Co-Founder of GoBo Labs. “It’s an opportunity to empower the creative process and shape how the next generation imagines stories.”
“GoBo was born from one simple idea, which was what creators could achieve with emerging tools, free from limits and creative compromise?” added Nishant Tahilramani, Co-Founder of GoBo Labs. “When we met Sanket and the Invideo team, we found a shared vision and a chance to shape tools that bring that no-holds-barred creative freedom to storytellers everywhere.”
The acquisition signals a broader shift in the creator economy, where AI-native studios and platforms are increasingly converging to redefine filmmaking, content production and storytelling at scale.
