Mumbai: SJ Uplift Kabaddi’s Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) garnered strong viewership for its matches in Season 2. With Zee Entertainment as the exclusive Broadcast Partner, Season 2 was aired in Hindi and English on Zee Anmol Cinema 2 and &Pictures HD and was hosted at the Noida Indoor Stadium.
Season 2 witnessed 120% growth with a cumulative reach of 40 million across India (2+). The AMA (Average Minute Audience) was 90.8 for Season 2 (2+), reinforcing the growing popularity, appeal and consumption appetite for state-level leagues across India. Season 1 amassed a cumulative reach of 18.2 million and AMA of 49.

Organised by SJ Uplift Kabaddi Pvt. Ltd. in association with the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi Association, the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League is focused on strengthening grassroots-to- professional pathways through high-quality competitive kabaddi. The total live matches aired for Season 2 were 66 as compared to 55 matches in Season 1.
Season 2 also witnessed the addition of 4 new teams – Kanpur Warriors, Aligarh Tigers, Purvanchal Panthers and Gazab Gaziabad making it a total of 12 team franchises in addition to Tusshar Kapoor joining as co- owner of Gazab Ghaziabad franchise. Having kickstarted on December 25, 2025, the finals witnessed Kashi Kings lifting the trophy on 10th January 2026.
