Mumbai: Concept Public Relations India, a PR-led integrated communications agency, is commemorating International Women’s Day 2026 with a heartfelt internal initiative titled “PowerPause”, aimed at recognising and honouring the multifaceted contributions of women both within and beyond the office.
The agency reiterated its belief that respect and opportunity must remain free of gender bias, and that celebrating women means acknowledging them in their entirety — not merely by their professional designations.
As part of the initiative, all women employees will log off 60 minutes early on Friday, 6th March 2026. The dedicated hour is intended purely for “me time”, serving as a symbolic yet meaningful gesture to honour the dedication, resilience and multiple roles women balance every day.
Expanding the celebration further, the theme “You Beyond the Office” will spotlight the diverse passions, talents and personal stories that define each individual. Women team members are encouraged to share a photograph reflecting a pursuit they engage in outside of work — from cooking, painting and crocheting to dancing, fitness, music, entrepreneurship, sports or photography. By inviting employees to “own their story,” the agency aims to reinforce its commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture that values authenticity, individuality and work-life harmony.
Commenting on the initiative, Smita Vichare Pednekar, Senior Vice President – HR, Concept Public Relations India, said, “Behind every deadline met, every campaign delivered, and every milestone achieved, there are women who give far more than what is visible. They carry ambition with grace, responsibility with resilience, and compassion with strength. ‘PowerPause’ is a small but sincere acknowledgment of the many roles women embrace, as leaders, creators, caregivers, dreamers, and changemakers. This initiative is our way of saying: we see you, we value you, and we celebrate you, not just for the work you do, but for the person you are beyond it.”
Through “PowerPause”, the agency continues to strengthen a culture where every story matters, underscoring its commitment to celebrating women not only for their professional achievements, but for who they are beyond the workplace.
