Mumbai: HistoryTV18 has announced the launch of Season 16 of its flagship travel-food series #RoadTrippinWithRocky, further strengthening its digital-first content strategy with a multi-platform rollout.
The latest season, featuring food explorer Rocky Singh, will air from March 25 to 31 across television and social media platforms, covering a culinary journey through Uttar Pradesh with an extended route to Chandigarh and Delhi.
The new season charts a route from Mathura to Lucknow via Agra and Kanpur, spotlighting regional flavours and local food cultures. The journey begins in Mathura, followed by stops in Agra—known not only for the Taj Mahal but also for its culinary offerings—and Kanpur, before culminating in Lucknow, a UNESCO-recognised gastronomy hub.
In a departure from the core route, the show introduces an unexpected extension to Chandigarh and Delhi, adding a broader narrative that blends food, travel, and evolving urban experiences. In Chandigarh, the series explores hospitality education alongside the city’s food culture, while the finale in Delhi highlights modern infrastructure through its world-class airport.
Originally conceived as a digital-first experiment, #RoadTrippinWithRocky has evolved into one of HistoryTV18’s most successful content franchises. The series combines travel, food, and culture in a short-format, mobile-first storytelling style designed for on-the-go consumption.
The franchise has demonstrated strong audience traction, generating over 2 billion impressions and more than 570 million video views across platforms. Its consistent tone and relatable format have helped build a loyal viewer base, reinforcing the growing importance of integrated TV and digital content strategies for broadcasters.
With Season 16, the network continues to deepen its engagement with younger, mobile-first audiences while leveraging cross-platform distribution to maximise reach and impact.
