Mumbai: The Access Group has announced the appointment of Arup Mukherjee as Head of Marketing, Hospitality APAC. The move marks a strategic step in strengthening the company’s leadership presence across the Asia-Pacific region, where STAAH, an Access company, currently serves over 30,000 properties across 90 countries.
In his new role, Mukherjee will lead The Access Hospitality’s marketing strategy across APAC, focusing on brand building, demand generation, and deeper engagement with hospitality businesses across the region. He will also play a key role in strengthening The Access Group’s positioning as an employer of choice for technology talent across APAC.
Mukherjee brings more than 16 years of experience in B2B marketing, technology-led growth, and regional market development across emerging markets, EMEA, and APAC. Prior to joining The Access Group, he was associated with Wolters Kluwer, where he established the marketing function and implemented a comprehensive MarTech stack. Earlier, he led India GTS Marketing at Gartner, overseeing global demand generation initiatives across emerging markets.
He also spent nearly a decade at Cvent, eventually serving as Regional Manager of Field Marketing, where he spearheaded marketing efforts across EMEA and APAC while driving the company’s expansion into new geographies.
The company said the appointment comes at a time when India and the wider APAC region are witnessing rapid growth in hospitality technology adoption, with hospitality businesses increasingly seeking integrated, AI-powered solutions to manage operations, revenue, and customer engagement.
The Access Group highlighted that its AI-powered platform, Access Evo, alongside hospitality-focused brands including STAAH, ResDiary, Guestline, and SHR, positions the company strongly to cater to evolving market demands across accommodation, food and beverage, and hospitality operations.

Commenting on the appointment, Louise Daley, Head of Hospitality APAC, The Access Group said, “We have a strong and growing base of hospitality customers across India and APAC through STAAH, ResDiary, Guestline and SHR, all Access companies. From accommodation providers to food and beverage operators, our focus is on ensuring every one of them has the technology, support, and partnership they need to grow. Arup brings exactly the marketing leadership to help us do that at scale. His ability to build marketing functions, develop regional markets, and harness MarTech and AI to drive meaningful engagement means we are well placed to deepen our relationships with existing customers and reach the many more hospitality businesses across Asia-Pacific who would benefit from what The Access Group has to offer.”

Commenting on his appointment, Arup Mukherjee, Head of Marketing, Hospitality APAC, The Access Group said, “The Access Group is at a genuinely exciting inflection point in APAC, through the existing Access brands of STAAH, ResDiary, Guestline and SHR, giving us an incredibly strong foundation to build from. Having spent a significant part of my career developing markets across APAC and EMEA, with emerging markets always at the heart of my work, this role feels like a natural and exciting next step. I am looking forward to building a marketing engine that connects with hospitality operators authentically, tells The Access Group story compellingly, and drives real, measurable growth across the region.”
