Mumbai: Mars has elevated Mahmoud Maghraby to the role of Media Director for the AMEA region, strengthening its media leadership across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to this appointment, Maghraby served as Media Director overseeing the Middle East, Africa and Global Emerging Markets portfolio at the company.
Before joining Mars, he was associated with EssenceMediacom, where he held the position of Client Managing Director and Head of Strategy for the MENA region. In that role, he worked across strategic planning and client leadership responsibilities for key regional mandates.
Maghraby also spent close to eight years with Starcom Middle East, building extensive experience in media strategy, communications planning and integrated campaign management.
With more than two decades of industry experience, Maghraby has worked across multiple markets and regional business operations. His expertise spans media planning, strategic leadership, cross-market operations and integrated media strategy.
The elevation comes at a time when brands are increasingly focusing on unified regional media strategies and consumer engagement across fast-growing international markets.
