Mumbai: Mumbai-based performance marketing agency Django has announced the launch of JAG AI, a productised AI onboarding and setup service designed to help startup marketing teams and D2C brands integrate Anthropic’s Claude AI into their marketing operations.
Positioned as a hybrid between a product and a service, JAG AI aims to enable brands to run core marketing functions using AI without relying on long-term agency retainers or ongoing external dependencies.
The offering is built on Anthropic’s Claude AI platform and combines Django’s marketing expertise with customised AI configuration across seven key marketing functions including brand voice and tone, content creation, SEO, website copy, influencer outreach, performance creatives, and business intelligence.
Unlike templated AI solutions, Django says every JAG AI setup is customised specifically for individual brands based on their workflows, positioning, audience personas, and communication style.
The engagement runs over 30 to 45 days and includes a live Claude Projects workspace, a training workshop for the client’s marketing team, and a detailed marketing playbook document. The service is offered at a one-time fee of INR 7.5 lakh plus applicable taxes, with no recurring retainer structure.

Commenting on the launch, Shivang Shah, Founder, Django & JAG AI, said, “We’ve spent six years building marketing systems for over 250 brands. At some point it became clear that the real bottleneck for most marketing teams isn’t talent — it’s time spent on work that AI should be doing. JAG AI is our way of packaging what we know into something any brand can own and run themselves. Claude is the best AI for marketing work right now. We’re the people who know how to set it up properly.”
The launch comes amid rising adoption of generative AI tools by marketing teams, although many brands continue to face challenges around consistency, workflow integration, and maintaining distinct brand voice within AI-generated outputs.
JAG AI’s offering includes AI-enabled systems for content calendar creation, SEO workflows, landing page copywriting, influencer collaboration management, ad creative generation, and competitor and industry trend monitoring.

Explaining the rationale behind the launch, Aashay Shah, Co-Founder, Django & JAG AI, said, “Every brand we speak to has Claude open in a tab somewhere. But the outputs are generic, nothing sounds like the brand, and the team gives up after two weeks. The problem isn’t the tool — it’s the setup. We’ve spent the better part of the last year building these systems for ourselves first. What used to take our team four hours per client per week now runs automatically. JAG AI is us handing that system over to brands who want to run it themselves.”
The service is targeted at funded startups, Series A-stage companies, D2C brands, and SMEs with active in-house marketing teams seeking to build AI capabilities internally rather than outsourcing execution to agencies.
According to the company, the onboarding process involves auditing existing brand content, understanding internal workflows, and developing custom prompts and AI systems tailored to real business use cases before deployment.

Speaking about the implementation process, Vrudhi Doshi, Founder, JAG AI, said, “What we’ve built is not a product you buy and figure out yourself. The setup takes 30 to 45 days because we go deep — we audit the brand’s existing content, map their team’s actual workflow, and build every prompt against real scenarios before we hand anything over. The training workshop at the end is where brands really see the difference. Their team goes from skeptical about AI to using it confidently in a few hours. That handover moment is what JAG AI is designed around.”
The name JAG AI is derived from the Hindi and Romany word “Jag,” meaning “to awaken,” extending Django’s broader positioning around digitally awakening brand presence and marketing intelligence through technology-led solutions.
