New Delhi: Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), the diversified FMCG conglomerate, has announced an exclusive partnership with renowned British bakery brand Ben’s Cookies, marking the latter’s official entry into the Indian market.
Founded in 1983 at Oxford’s historic Covered Market, Ben’s Cookies has built a global reputation for its artisanal cookies known for their signature chunky and gooey texture. Through this partnership, DS Group aims to introduce the brand’s bakery-first retail concept to Indian consumers, emphasizing freshly baked products, simple ingredients, and premium quality.
The launch comes as India’s premium food and dessert segment continues to witness strong growth, driven by rising disposable incomes, urbanization, and increasing consumer preference for handcrafted and indulgent food experiences.
Ben’s Cookies will debut in India with a range of its globally popular offerings, including Milk Chocolate Chunk, White Chocolate & Macadamia, Ginger & Dark Chocolate, along with a dedicated eggless variant tailored for local preferences. The brand will also offer gifting options designed for festive celebrations and corporate occasions.
Individual cookies will be priced from Rs. 325 onwards, while curated gifting assortments will be available at premium price points exceeding Rs. 1,500.

Speaking on the partnership, Sanskriti Gupta, Ben’s Cookies India, said, “The arrival of Ben’s Cookies in India marks a significant milestone in DS Group’s strategic expansion within the premium food retail sector. As part of its market entry strategy, Ben’s Cookies plans to establish a strong omnichannel presence. Alongside physical retail outlets, the brand’s products will be available through leading e-commerce and food delivery platforms, ensuring wider accessibility for consumers across key markets.
To preserve the brand’s globally recognized quality standards, each Ben’s Cookies boutique in India will feature live baking stations, allowing fresh batches of cookies to be prepared throughout the day.
Commenting on the India launch, Luke Menezes, Ben’s Cookies, said, “To ensure our traditional, quality standards are mirrored in India, every Ben’s Cookies boutique will feature a live-oven baking fresh batches throughout the day. Beyond our world-famous cookies, we look forward to sharing an array of delicious treats, including rich cookie shakes, coffees, and cookie ice cream sandwiches. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to work with DS Group and look forward to becoming a cherished part of the Indian dessert landscape.”
Industry estimates indicate that India’s cookie market, valued at approximately USD 1.3 billion in 2024, is expected to grow to USD 2.3 billion by 2033. The expansion is being driven by increasing demand for premium, authentic, and artisanal food products among urban consumers.
With its focus on handcrafted baking, fresh preparation, and premium gifting, Ben’s Cookies aims to carve a niche in India’s growing premium dessert segment while leveraging DS Group’s retail expertise and understanding of local consumer preferences.
