Mumbai: The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) has announced the appointment of Shailesh Jejurikar as Chairman of its Board of Directors, effective August 1, 2026. Jejurikar will assume the role alongside his current responsibilities as President and Chief Executive Officer, marking a new chapter in the company’s leadership.
As part of the leadership transition, Executive Chairman Jon Moeller will retire from the Board effective July 31, 2026, and from P&G on August 14, 2026, concluding a distinguished 38-year career with the company.
“I want to thank Jon for his many years of tireless and steady leadership at P&G, having served in key roles including Executive Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer throughout his 38 years of dedicated service to the company,” said Jejurikar. “Jon’s strategic vision has been instrumental in shaping the company P&G is today, and we have benefited from his unwavering courage and his profound care for this institution and its people.”
Jejurikar joined P&G in 1989 and has been a member of the company’s global leadership team since 2014. Over the years, he has held a range of senior leadership positions across categories, business sectors and international markets.
During his tenure, he has played a key role in strengthening several of P&G’s core businesses, including its global Fabric Care and Home Care portfolios, across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. He has also contributed to the development of the company’s growth strategy and operational performance across key functions such as Supply Chain, Information Technology and Global Business Services.
