New Delhi: PepsiCo India has strengthened its beverages leadership team with the appointment of Tanvi Swami as Marketing Director, entrusting her with the marketing strategy for three of its flagship soft drink brands—Pepsi, 7UP and Mirinda.
Swami shared the announcement on LinkedIn, expressing enthusiasm about joining the company. “I’m excited to start my new job at PepsiCo as Marketing Director – Pepsi, 7UP, Mirinda! A huge thank you to the leadership and talent team for the opportunity. Thrilled to join such a dynamic team with iconic brands,” she wrote.
She joins PepsiCo after spending more than three years at Pernod Ricard India, where she held several senior marketing positions. Most recently, she served as Marketing Director, overseeing the company’s premium spirits portfolio, including brands such as Chivas Regal, The Glenlivet, its gin portfolio and Lillet.
Before moving to Pernod Ricard, Swami spent over seven years with Kellogg Company, leading marketing initiatives across key breakfast cereal brands, including Kellogg’s Chocos, Muesli, Granola and Special K. Her earlier professional experience includes Britannia Industries, where she worked in marketing and sales roles and managed the Tiger biscuits brand.
With more than 15 years of experience spanning the food, beverage and consumer goods sectors, Swami brings extensive brand-building expertise to PepsiCo. She is an MBA graduate in Marketing and Finance from the Indian School of Business.
In her new role, Swami will be responsible for driving marketing strategy and brand growth for PepsiCo India’s flagship carbonated beverage portfolio, as the company continues to strengthen its presence in India’s highly competitive soft drinks market.
