Mumbai: Malayalam crime thriller Dridam, presented by Jeethu Joseph, is set for its digital premiere on JioHotstar from June 12, expanding its reach to audiences across India through multilingual streaming.
Written by Linto Devasia and Jomon John, and directed by Martin M. Joseph, the film is produced by Katrina Anne Jeethu, Mukesh R. Mehta, and C. V. Sarathi under the banners of E4 Experiments and Bedtime Stories.
Positioned as a gripping investigative drama, Dridam follows the story of Sub-Inspector Vijay Radhakrishnan, portrayed by Shane Nigam, who is newly posted to the quiet village of Kuzhinilam. What begins as a routine assignment soon turns into a high-stakes investigation after the discovery of an unidentified body. As unexpected developments unfold and hidden truths emerge, Vijay faces mounting pressure to solve the mystery.
The film features an ensemble cast including Shane Nigam, Shobi Thilakan, Kottayam Ramesh, Dinesh Prabhakar, Krishna Prabha, Nandan Unni, and Saniya Fathima, among others.
Supporting the film’s storytelling are P. M. Unnikrishnan, who has handled cinematography, and V. S. Vinayak, who serves as editor.
With its digital debut, Dridam will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, enabling audiences across regions to access the crime thriller in their preferred language.
Blending suspense, investigation, and layered storytelling, Dridam aims to strengthen its audience reach through the growing OTT ecosystem.
