Mumbai: Eros Innovation has announced an ambitious new content slate spanning mythology-inspired storytelling, franchise expansion, and restored cinematic classics through three key initiatives — Eros Brahmand, Eros Universe, and Eros Remastered.
Leading the announcement is Eros Brahmand, a mythology-based cinematic universe designed to bring interconnected storytelling inspired by Indian mythology and folklore to audiences across formats and generations.
The newly unveiled universe will comprise nine original titles: Nandi – War of Kailasa, Dwaarka: Gateway to the Universe, Vimaan Wars, Mahabharat 5000 A.D., Yakshinis, Brahmarakshak, Garuda, Kumbhayanna, and Mansa Devi. Together, these projects are intended to create an expansive narrative ecosystem rooted in Indian cultural narratives while adopting contemporary storytelling approaches.
Alongside this, the company introduced Eros Universe, a franchise expansion initiative aimed at extending the legacy of some of Indian cinema’s most recognisable titles through fresh narratives and new characters.
The slate includes Tanu Weds Manu – The Next Chapter, Phobia, English Vinglish, Desi Boyz, Rangeela, and Tere Naam, with future storytelling planned across films, animation, microdramas, and character-led content formats.
Among the headline projects is Tanu Weds Manu – The Next Chapter, directed by Mitakshara Kumar (Heeramandi, The Empire) and co-produced with Rudrak Soma Jyoti Limited. Production on the film is expected to begin in 2026.
Completing the slate is Eros Remastered, an initiative focused on restoring and reintroducing iconic films to newer audiences. The programme will commence with Kochadaiyan, originally recognised as India’s first motion-capture feature film. The restored and reimagined version will be developed under the creative leadership of Soundarya Rajinikanth.

Commenting on the announcement, Kishore Lulla, Founder and Chairman, Eros Innovation, said, “We are bringing together original mythology-inspired stories, beloved film titles and classic cinema under one umbrella. Our aim is to create stories that can engage audiences across generations and formats.”

Ridhima Lulla, Co-Founder and Co-President, Eros Innovation, added, “From building Brahmand to revisiting films that audiences have loved over the years, this slate reflects our ambition to tell stories in new and engaging ways.”
At London Tech Week, Eros Innovation also announced three creative programmes, fifteen productions, and a £265 million commitment to the United Kingdom. Additionally, the company stated that it will license its USD 1.7 billion cultural dataset, independently valued by OxValue.AI in association with the University of Oxford, to its UK operations to establish what it describes as a sovereign-grade cultural artificial intelligence capability in Britain.
With these announcements, Eros Innovation is positioning itself at the intersection of content creation, cultural storytelling, and emerging AI-driven media capabilities, while expanding its long-term entertainment and technology ambitions globally.
