New Delhi: Promodome Communications, a 360-degree integrated advertising and communications agency, has been appointed as the lead communication partner for the Census 2026–27 campaign, one of India’s most significant national initiatives in nearly two decades.
As part of the mandate, Promodome will be responsible for developing communication assets aimed at supporting awareness and implementation of the nationwide census exercise. The agency has been tasked with creating educational content across India in 22 regional languages to ensure broader understanding and accessibility across diverse demographic segments.
The appointment underscores Promodome’s capabilities in managing large-scale public communication programmes that demand multilingual execution, speed, and operational scale.

Commenting on the development, Mayank Kapur, Director, Promodome Group, said, “The agency has accomplished its mission by producing different radio jingles in different languages and delivered these within one week, demonstrating our ability to operate effectively & efficiently while creating content in multiple languages.”
He further added, “The project required multiple languages and maintaining tight deadlines during its execution. The team achieved record-breaking success by producing high-quality materials which demonstrate their commitment to excellence.”
The Census exercise will commence with the House Listing and Housing Census phase, marking the beginning of the national enumeration process. Following this, Promodome Communications is preparing to enter the second phase of communication development aligned with the actual population enumeration process, which is scheduled to begin in February 2027 through door-to-door counting.
The assignment is expected to involve extensive outreach and communication efforts designed to support awareness and participation across urban and rural India.
Promodome Communications has built a presence across integrated advertising, digital, print, radio, and on-ground communication platforms. The agency has previously handled large-scale mandates across government and corporate sectors, including campaigns for multinational brands operating in India.
With the Census 2026–27 campaign, Promodome further strengthens its position in delivering large-format public communication initiatives at national scale.
