Mumbai: Dvara KGFS Digital Services, a subsidiary of Dvara Kshetriya Gramin Financial Services (Dvara KGFS) focused on building digital infrastructure and expanding access to financial services in rural India, has appointed Ramkumar Ratnam as its Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment marks a strategic step in the company’s efforts to deepen financial inclusion through technology-led solutions and improve financial well-being for underserved households and enterprises across rural India.
Ramkumar has been associated with the Dvara ecosystem for the past 12 years and has played a significant role in strengthening the organisation’s growth journey and advancing its mission of inclusive finance. Most recently serving as Chief Business Officer at Dvara KGFS, he contributed to strengthening customer relationships, driving operational excellence and building resilient business systems across the company’s network.
With extensive experience in inclusive finance and a strong track record in strategic leadership, Ramkumar assumes the new role at a time when Dvara KGFS Digital Services is preparing to expand access to a broader range of financial services through digital innovation, enabling more effective service delivery for underserved households and micro-enterprises.
Dvara KGFS Digital Services is building a digital platform designed to enable customers in rural India to access critical digital financial services closer to home. These services include Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS), Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), and domestic money transfer capabilities, while also creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural entrepreneurs.
