Mumbai: IBM has appointed Tuhina Pandey as Vice President, Marketing for Asia Pacific, expanding her leadership responsibilities to oversee the company’s marketing strategy across one of its fastest-growing regions.
In her new role, Pandey will be responsible for driving IBM’s marketing agenda across Asia Pacific by aligning the company’s broad portfolio of technology and consulting capabilities with clients’ evolving business priorities. She will also work closely with IBM’s partner ecosystem to accelerate market growth and strengthen customer engagement across the region.
Announcing the development on LinkedIn, Pandey said, “This role sits at the heart of the client agenda: orchestrating the full breadth of IBM to solve our clients’ most pressing problems, and working closely with partners to scale impact across the region.”
Pandey takes on the expanded mandate after serving as Director, APAC Communications and Chief Marketing Officer for IBM India and South Asia. She assumed the combined communications and marketing leadership role in 2025, following her tenure as CMO and Director, Marketing and Communications for IBM India and South Asia, a position she held from 2023.
She joined IBM in 2020 as Communications Leader for India and South Asia and has since played a key role in shaping the company’s communications and marketing strategy across the region.
Prior to IBM, Pandey led Global Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at Tech Mahindra. She began her career in journalism, covering the technology sector as a business journalist with NDTV Profit before moving into editorial leadership as Associate Editor at Aegis News Network.
Over the course of her career, Pandey has built expertise across corporate communications, integrated marketing, leadership communications, media relations, media training and business consulting.
She holds a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
