Bengaluru: Wealth management firm Scripbox has promoted Mohankumar Swaminathan to the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO), entrusting him with leading the company’s product strategy, roadmap and innovation as it strengthens its AI-first digital wealth management platform.
The appointment marks a milestone in Swaminathan’s decade-long association with Scripbox and underscores the company’s focus on nurturing leadership from within. Having joined the company in 2016, he has played a key role in the evolution of Scripbox from one of India’s early digital mutual fund advisory platforms into a comprehensive wealth management firm serving affluent and high-net-worth investors.
Over the years, Swaminathan has led strategic initiatives across product management, customer acquisition, lifecycle engagement and marketing technology. He was instrumental in building the company’s in-house marketing automation platform, enhancing digital onboarding journeys and driving product-led growth to deliver seamless, customer-centric wealth management experiences.
In his new role, Swaminathan will oversee the company’s AI-first product vision and roadmap, working closely with engineering, design and business teams to develop solutions tailored to the evolving needs of investors.

Commenting on the promotion, Atul Shinghal, CEO, Scripbox, said, “Mohan has been an integral part of Scripbox’s journey over the past decade. His ability to bring together product thinking, technology and customer insights has helped us build experiences that have evolved alongside the changing needs of Indian investors. As we continue to strengthen our wealth management offerings, his leadership will play an important role in shaping the next phase of our product journey.”
Mohankumar Swaminathan, Chief Product Officer, Scripbox, added, “Completing ten years at Scripbox and stepping into the role of Chief Product Officer is a truly special milestone. I’ve had the privilege of watching Scripbox transform — from a category creator that made investing simple for early savers, to a wealth management firm trusted by investors serious about building and preserving wealth. Working at the intersection of product, technology and marketing to craft better customer experiences has been my mission throughout, and I’m excited to carry it forward as investor expectations continue to rise.”
The leadership announcement comes at a time when wealth management firms are increasingly leveraging artificial intelligence and digital technologies to deliver more personalised and efficient customer experiences. Scripbox said Swaminathan’s cross-functional expertise across product, technology and growth positions him to drive the company’s innovation agenda as the sector continues to evolve.
Swaminathan joined Scripbox as a Growth Hacker in 2016 and progressed through a series of leadership roles across growth, business and product. Prior to his elevation as Chief Product Officer, he served as Head of User Acquisition.
