New Delhi: The New Indian Express Group has elevated Natarajan Viswanathan to the position of Vice President, recognising his more than three decades of experience across media, sales, and marketing.
In his new role, Viswanathan will focus on strengthening strategic partnerships, driving innovative media solutions, and creating greater value for clients and the organisation while supporting the group’s business growth and long-term strategic objectives.
Announcing the development through a LinkedIn post, Viswanathan expressed gratitude to his colleagues, mentors, clients, leadership, team, friends, and family for their unwavering support throughout his professional journey.
Viswanathan joined The New Indian Express Group in October 2020 as Assistant Vice President (Marketing). Over the past six years, he has played a key role in the organisation’s marketing initiatives before being elevated to Vice President in July 2026.
Before joining The New Indian Express Group, Viswanathan spent more than a decade at The Hindu, where he built an extensive career across regional leadership roles. He joined the publication as Deputy Regional Manager in April 2010 and was subsequently promoted to Senior Deputy Regional Manager, Regional Manager, and Senior Regional Manager, serving the organisation until October 2020.
Earlier in his career, Viswanathan worked with Johnson & Johnson as a Sales Representative from January 1996 to February 1998. Prior to that, he served as a Sales Executive at SUMAN MOTELS between February and December 1995, where he played a key role in launching the company’s timeshare resort scheme in the Mumbai market.
With over 31 years of experience spanning sales, marketing, and media leadership, Viswanathan’s elevation reflects The New Indian Express Group’s continued focus on strengthening its leadership team to drive business growth and deliver enhanced value to clients.
