Mumbai: Vedanta Group has appointed Abhilasha Gupta as Head – External Communications, strengthening its corporate communications leadership as the organisation continues to navigate its next phase of growth and transformation.
Gupta joins Vedanta Group from Tech Mahindra, where she served as Global Head – Corporate Communications & Public Affairs. She was associated with Tech Mahindra since 2018, leading strategic communications, public affairs initiatives, content strategy and reputation management.

With extensive experience spanning corporate communications, crisis communications, public affairs, marketing communications and content strategy, Gupta brings a strong track record in shaping organisational narratives and managing stakeholder engagement.
Prior to Tech Mahindra, Gupta held roles with organisations including The PRactice and HCL Technologies, building expertise across corporate reputation management, strategic communication and brand positioning.
At Vedanta Group, Gupta will be responsible for driving the company’s external communications strategy and strengthening engagement with key stakeholders across its diverse business portfolio.
