Mumbai: The London International Awards (LIA) has named Dino Myers-Lamptey, Founder of The Barber Shop, London, as Jury President for the Creativity in Media category at the 2026 LIA Awards. The judging sessions will take place at Encore @ Wynn, Las Vegas, from September 25 to October 3, 2026.
Now in its second year, the Creativity in Media competition continues to recognize excellence in media innovation and creative effectiveness. Myers-Lamptey will lead a panel of global industry experts tasked with evaluating the year’s most outstanding work.
The Barber Shop, London is a strategy-led creative company that helps brands solve complex business challenges through data, distribution and disruptive ideas. Its client portfolio includes brands such as Sky, Triumph, BFI and ExpressVPN. Alongside his agency leadership, Myers-Lamptey also advises founders and scale-ups on marketing strategy and education, helping early-stage businesses apply media thinking to drive sustainable growth.
In 2025, Myers-Lamptey was recognized as a Campaign Top 10 Media Planner for the eighth time and was also named to Campaign’s A-list.
On taking on the role as Jury President, Dino Myers-Lamptey said, “The LIA is like a filter of the best and most creative work from around the world, and being a judge is like getting a fast-track pass to the very best ideas and inspiration that has risen through the year. Seeing the work and being intellectually challenged by the room full of creative leaders makes the LIA’s something special and so important”.
The appointment comes at a time when creativity is becoming increasingly central to media effectiveness. As media channels continue to evolve, brands are placing greater emphasis on innovative strategies that deliver both engagement and business growth. A recent study indicates that companies prioritizing creative strategies experienced annual revenue growth of more than 10%, underscoring the growing commercial value of media creativity.
LIA cited campaigns such as The New York Times’ takeover of the S Shuttle train between Times Square and Grand Central Station in New York City as an example of media creativity in action. The campaign transformed the train inside and out, with each carriage representing a different New York Times subscription product, from Games and News to a recreation of the New York Giants locker room for The Athletic.

“A good media strategy is not just about efficient reach, it is about creating a framework to communicate in all relevant ways for that brand advantage. We have on our jury, very respected people in the industry who have been responsible for highly successful campaigns. We look to them to set the gold standard for Creativity in Media for the next year,” said Christina Shaw, VP – Awards Director, LIA.
LIA said its judging process brings together leading creative professionals from network and independent agencies, production companies, music and audio studios, post-production houses, and brand creative teams. Every juror is required to review every entry in their respective category during the on-site judging sessions in Las Vegas, with no pre-judging or pre-shortlisting, ensuring a comprehensive and rigorous evaluation process.
