Kochi: Kappa CULTR, Kerala’s largest electronic music festival, has released the official Kappa CULTR ’26 Aftermovie, offering a cinematic retrospective of this year’s edition held at the Bolgatty Palace Grounds in Kochi.
The film captures highlights from the three-day festival, showcasing live performances, immersive stage production, contemporary art, culinary experiences, fashion showcases and interactive gaming zones that together shaped one of India’s most distinctive electronic music festivals.
Positioned as more than a festival recap, the aftermovie pays tribute to the thousands of music enthusiasts, artists, creators and collaborators who came together to celebrate electronic music and contemporary culture.
The 2026 edition featured 27 international and homegrown artists performing across two stages, covering genres including melodic house and techno, progressive house, hypnotic techno, drum & bass and psytrance.
Beyond music, the festival continued to expand its multidisciplinary cultural proposition through curated experiences. CULTR ART transformed the venue with immersive installations and contemporary artworks, while CULTR Food, curated by Alex Jo Scaria, highlighted Kochi’s coastal cuisine alongside global flavours. CULTR Fashion, led by Strada Sutairer, showcased designer collections, pop-up experiences and immersive styling concepts, while CULTR Games, curated by Versus Arcade Games, added interactive gaming experiences to the festival ecosystem.
The official Kappa CULTR ’26 Aftermovie is now available on the festival’s YouTube channel.

Commenting on the launch, Mayura Shreyams Kumar, Festival Founder & Director, Digital Business, Mathrubhumi Group, said, “What sets Kappa CULTR apart is its multidisciplinary soul. In directing this film, we wanted to ensure the art installations, fashion, and culinary stories were framed with as much intensity as the headlining sets. Every frame is a tribute to the thousands of festivalgoers and creators who transformed the venue into a living, breathing canvas.”

Devika Shreyams Kumar, Festival Founder & Director, Operations, Mathrubhumi Group, added, “Every festival leaves behind memories that are impossible to recreate. With the CULTR aftermovie, we wanted to capture the spirit of those three days—the music, the art, the food, the arcade games, and, above all, the incredible people and shared energy that transformed Bolgatty Palace into something truly special. More than a recap, we hope this film preserves a feeling.”
