Bengaluru: Capital One has appointed communications leader Aanandita Bhatnagar as Head of Corporate Communications for India, strengthening the leadership team of its Bengaluru-based Global Capability Centre (GCC) as the company continues to invest in its technology-first banking strategy.
In her new role, Bhatnagar will lead Capital One India’s communications mandate, overseeing Brand Marketing, Talent Engagement and Integrated Communications. She will be responsible for strengthening the company’s regional brand identity, enhancing its employer value proposition and elevating its corporate reputation across key stakeholder groups.
Bhatnagar brings 25 years of experience in corporate communications, brand marketing and reputation management across global technology companies and high-growth organisations.
Prior to joining Capital One, she served as AVP – Global Brand & Marketing Strategy at Web3 startup Liminal Custody. Earlier, she spent nearly nine years at NetApp as Director – Integrated Marketing Communications for India and the APAC Hub, where she led brand strategy, communications, employer branding and marketing initiatives, including the company’s NetApp Excellerator startup programme.
Over the course of her career, Bhatnagar has also held leadership roles at Texas Instruments, Cisco Systems, ANZ Banking Group, AXA Business Services and Bharti Airtel. She has worked closely with executive leadership teams on brand building, strategic communications, market positioning and employer branding initiatives.
Outside her corporate responsibilities, Bhatnagar is a founding member of the Global Women in PR (GWPR) India chapter and has actively championed diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), corporate social responsibility (CSR) and POSH governance initiatives.
