New Delhi : The All India Radio News Facebook page has crossed “two million likes” while it also is reaching almost “ten million” people in terms of posts, an official statement released today said.
The statement, released by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, said that “Facebook insight data shows that AIR’s News Service Division (NSD) is reaching almost 10 million people in terms of posts on an average per day across the length and breadth of the country including the overseas diaspora,” the statement said.
AIR under the Prasar Bharati has the distinction of being one of the major broadcasting organisations in the world. The News Services Division (NSD) of AIR disseminates news and comments to listeners in India and abroad.
