aawaz.com and Spotify sign global licensing deal for Hindi audio shows and podcasts

Mumbai: aawaz.com, the largest spoken-word audio and podcast network in Indian languages, is proud to announce its licensing arrangement with Spotify, the world’s most popular audio streaming platform. Hundreds of millions of Spotify listeners will now have access to 100 hours of audio originals, podcasts, and audio shows from the Hindi repertoire of aawaz.

The licensing arrangement will make the best shows of aawaz available on Spotify. Quantitatively, this is 48 different audio shows and podcasts – from genres across comedy, stories, horror, spiritual, lifestyle, and entertainment – spread over 700 episodes and 6000 minutes of high-quality audio content in Hindi.

Some of the aawaz shows that will be available on Spotify are ‘Standup Comedy Rehman Khan Ke Saath’, ‘Manto Ki Kahaniya’, ‘Swami Aur Uke Dost’, ‘Lalan Chala America’, and ‘Anabel’.
