‘Chill Kittiyaa’, a fun Punjabi number, is ABC Digital’s first song after starting operations in India.
The song is performed by Mehi, who is a London (UK) based singer-songwriter who featured on BBC Asian Network’s 2017 Future Sounds showcase. Having built a solid fan base in the UK through 2017 with radio playlisted tracks such as “Be Mine (Meri Ban Ja)” and “Loved Up (Ho Geya Pyar)”, Mehi is a singing sensation about to be unleashed in the Indian sub-continent. The artist is known for his unique vocal texture and melodious skills forged by a solid background in classical training inspired by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Sabri Brothers, Hans Raj Hans, Sardool Sikander and many legends of Punjab. A UK college with award winning architecture provides the music video’s backdrop, whilst the storyboard depicts the sweet college romance & how one look is enough to turn that initial attraction into your first love. The video features Singer Mehi & Model Eleanor Hoath as the cute couple, where Mehi is wooing the girl in every sweet way possible.
“Chill Kittiyaa has become close to my heart after my first release ‘Pyar Diyan Gallan’ . It’s the kind of song with a story that most people can relate too, that first year in college when you see that one person, who’s going to be your distraction for the rest of the year! I never imagined this song to turn out the way it has, from lyrics to composition and music production to video. It’s a blessing to have a great team supporting me. I really and truly wanted to make a sweet-sounding song which everyone can fall in love with.” Music is by Shakti Perkash, another brilliant talent from UK and Lyrics are written by Mehi himself. Music Video is directed by Luke Biggins whose credits include “Bom Diggy” by Zack Knight & Jasmin Walia; and “Vibe” by The PropheC Being released under the label Organised Rhyme, in association with ABC Digital who is the Digital Partner.
ABC Digital, an international music distributor with HQ in London, UK, now also operating in the Indian market, to promote & distribute music.
