The Telugu version of KBC on Maa TV “Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu” (MEK) had paid rich dividends to the channel with a huge success. MEK emerged as the market Topper in AP with a consistent performance.
MEK is being aired as a 90 mins show between 9PM to 10.30PM on week days (Monday to Thursday)
Industry reviews state that Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni managed to get in to the shoes of a show host comfortably and his golden touch is shining day by day.
Maa TV’s Non Fiction team involved in MEK are really excited about the out-come and hopping to add some more features in the further episodes. They are also planning to increase the no of episodes from original level of 40 episodes to more no. of episodes.
However, ETV’s show “Jabardast” which is the Telugu version of “Comedy Nights” stood unharmed by MEK when it clashed with each other on Thursday Nights. Maa TV is a bit concerned by this factor as this should not encourage ETV to think of a counter strategy.
Maa TV’s “Chinnari Pellikooturu” which is the dubbed version of ‘Balika Vadhu’ stood as the top rated Fiction program.
