Amdocs named a Leader in Gartner’s 2017 Magic Quadrant

Mumbai: Amdocs, a leading provider of software and services to communications and media companies, today announced Gartner has positioned Amdocs asa Leader in its 2017 Magic Quadrant for Integrated Revenue and Customer Management for CSPs*. This Gartner Magic Quadrant provides a snapshot of the market and vendors offering Integrated Revenue and Customer Management(IRCM)solutions for communications service providers (CSPs) and evaluates them on their completeness of vision and ability to execute.

According to Gartner, “Leaders are vendors that would normally beincluded on shortlists for IRCM solutions for large and midsize CSPs worldwide: they perform profitably, grow their revenue and have a presence in all major markets; their functionality is above average, and their technology and scalability are leading-edge; they also engage in innovative projects and activities, carefully listening to their customer base and executing projects to their customers’ satisfaction; and they are engaged in understanding the underlying and emerging patterns/trends in revenue and customer management activities, and they direct their R&D resources and investments accordingly.”

“Amdocs has been in the Leaders quadrant of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Integrated Revenue and Customer Management for CSPs since the report’s inception and we are pleased to be named a Leader in the 2017 report as well,” said Anthony Goonetilleke, Group President, Amdocs Technology.

“Amdocs continues to introduce product innovation in the IRCM domain,” continued Goonetilleke. “Past year highlights include the launch of Amdocs aia, our telecom-specific, digital intelligence platform, and ofthe Amdocs Smartbot with Microsoft Cognitive Services. Across the 350 communications and media companies that Amdocs serves, the company had several new wins and deployments in the IRCM space this past year. These include wins at Altice USAfor superior omni-channel customer service experiences, and at Sunrise in Switzerland, for further digitalization of its call center operations, and deployments at Smart in the Philippines, for personalized and contextualizedcustomer engagements, and at KT in South Korea, for a single, real-time convergent charging systemto enable rapid introduction of personalized and contextualized quad-play services and shared data plans.
