Mumbai: Tupperware has appointed Ankur Damani as Commercial Director for India, effective May 26, 2026, as the food storage and kitchenware brand accelerates its efforts to strengthen growth, profitability, and omnichannel capabilities in the country.
In his new role, Damani will lead Tupperware’s India business, with responsibility for driving commercial growth, enhancing market execution, expanding product and distribution capabilities, and advancing the company’s omnichannel strategy to meet evolving consumer needs.
The appointment comes at a time when Tupperware is continuing to evolve its business model in response to changing shopping habits and increasing demand for seamless experiences across offline and online channels. Damani is expected to play a key role in expanding the company’s multi-channel presence and strengthening its market position.
Bringing more than two decades of experience across leading consumer and retail brands, Damani joins Tupperware from Triumph International, where he served as Country Head for India and Sri Lanka. During his tenure, he led strategic initiatives focused on business transformation, market expansion, and operational growth across the region.
Before that, he headed the India business for Le Creuset, the French premium cookware brand, where he was instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint across retail, e-commerce, hospitality, and corporate channels.
Over the course of his career, Damani has developed expertise in business transformation, distributor network development, retail expansion, omnichannel growth, and consumer-focused business strategies, making him well-positioned to steer Tupperware’s next phase of growth in India.
