Mumbai: JioHotstar has elevated Ashwin Thirukulam to Director – Sales, with a focused mandate to amplify revenue generation from CPG and FMCG category clients. In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening partnerships across the FMCG ecosystem, leading high-performing teams, and delivering impactful, data-driven solutions for clients across premium video, CTV, content integrations, and audience-led advertising.
Announcing his elevation on LinkedIn, Thirukulam said that over the past few years he has had the opportunity to work with some of India’s leading brands, helping drive growth through strategic partnerships, content-led solutions, and data-driven approaches across the evolving media landscape.
Thirukulam entered the JioStar family in 2022, joining Viacom18 to handle JioCinema and Voot, both of which have since merged into JioHotstar. A media sales professional with over 12 years of experience, he has driven revenue growth and integrated marketing solutions across Print, Radio, OOH, Digital, and OTT platforms, working across diverse categories including FMCG, BFSI, Automotive, Retail, Consumer Durables, Luxury, and Pharma.
Prior to joining the JioStar ecosystem, Thirukulam was with Mirchi, where he led media sales and brand solutions for key clients. Before that, he was with Noblesse India, working closely with ultra-luxury brands and premium audiences.
