Mumbai: Bajaj Electricals has announced the appointment of Sangamitra Manoharan as Category Marketing Head – Kitchen Appliances.
In her new role, Sangamitra will lead marketing initiatives for the company’s kitchen appliances portfolio, focusing on brand growth, category expansion, consumer engagement, and digital-first strategies.
Sangamitra brings over 12 years of experience across FMCG, consumer technology, D2C and FMEG sectors. Prior to joining Bajaj Electricals, she was associated with Pluckk, where she built and scaled a data-driven digital marketing engine across e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms, contributing to the brand’s evolution into a multi-category clean eating FMCG platform.
She has also held key marketing roles at Amazon Prime Video India and Mondelez India. During her tenure at Mondelez, she worked on brands including Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk and 5 Star. As a brand lead and P&L owner for Cadbury, she spearheaded innovation-led campaigns and marketing initiatives that delivered over 20% growth along with consistent market share gains.
Commenting on the appointment, the company said that Sangamitra’s combination of brand-building expertise and digital-first thinking is expected to help accelerate growth and strengthen Bajaj Electricals’ presence in the kitchen appliances category.
Over the course of her career, Sangamitra has built expertise across brand strategy, category creation, consumer insights, influencer-led growth, performance marketing, marketplace growth, and P&L-led business management.
An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, she holds a PGDM in Marketing and is also a graduate of National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli.
