BARC Week 22: Dangal takes leap from No. 8 spot to No. 5 spot in across genre category

In Week 22 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India, the top four positions in the chart remained unchanged compared to last week. Sun TV continued its lead with 2453.84 (000) AMA in the across genre category followed by Star Maa with 2194.18 (000) AMA at 2nd spot and Star Plus with 2055.04 (000) AMA at the 3rd spot. Goldmines retained its 4th spot with 2021.33 (000) AMA. Dangal took a leap from 8th spot to 5th spot with 1785.42 (000) AMA. Sony Sab retained its 6th spot with 1725.75 (000) AMA followed by Star Vijay at 7th spot with 1688.96 (000) AMA. Star Pravah shifted from 10th spot to 8th spot with 1507.05 (000) AMA. Zee Telugu entered the chart with 1457.3 (000) AMA and claimed the 9th spot. Zee Kannada slipped one spot down and stood at 10th position with 1437.61 (000) AMA.   

Hindi Speaking Market

In the Hindi Speaking Market, Goldmines shifted one spot up and bagged the top position with 1996.71 (000) AMA. Star Plus slipped one spot down and stood at 2nd position with 1991.28 (000) AMA. Dangal moved from 5th spot to 3rd spot with 1776.18 (000) AMA. Sony Sab retained its 4th spot with 1689.72 (000) AMA. Star Pravah entered the chart with 1480.72 (000) AMA and claimed the 5th spot. 

Punjabi (Punjab/Chandigarh)

Among the Punjabi Speaking Market, the top three positions remained the same compared to last week. PTC Punjabi continued its lead with 222.75 (000) AMA followed by Zee Punjabi with 164.7 (000) AMA at the 2nd spot and Star Plus with 125.4 (000) AMA at 3rd spot. Goldmines shifted one spot up and claimed the 4th position with 104.01 (000) AMA. Colors slipped one spot down and stood at 5th position with 91.45 (000) AMA. 

Marathi (Maharashtra/Goa)

In the Marathi Speaking Market, Star Pravah continued its lead with 1458.19 (000) AMA followed by Zee Marathi at 2nd spot with 525.84 (000) AMA. Sony Sab shifted one spot up and claimed the 3rd position with 448.93 (000) AMA followed by Colors Marathi with 360.34 (000) AMA at 4th position. Goldmines entered the chart with 328.36 (000) AMA and claimed the 5th spot.
