Building Blocks Group joins hands with Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari

Hyderabad :A father chooses his daughters’ education over their marriage and decides to empower them to pursue their dreams.

That’s the plot of the next ad film being produced for the leading land developer group in India, Building Blocks Group, widely present in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The ad film is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari, one of the biggest film makers in India. His debut feature film ‘Chillar Party’ won National Award in 2012 and later he went on to direct ‘Bhootnath Returns’ with Amitabh Bachchan in 2014. His latest feature ‘Dangal’ starring Amir Khan has become the biggest blockbuster of Indian film industry by breaking box office records in India and abroad. Prior to venturing into feature films, Nitesh led Leo Burnett India as its National Creative Director and was celebrated for some of the most iconic advertising campaigns.

Mr. Mallikarjun Reddy, The Chairman & Managing Director of Building Blocks is thoroughly excited about the upcoming campaign shared his views: “We are not in the business of selling land, we are in the business of helping people progress. This campaign will strengthen our vision as a brand and a company even more. I’m deeply touched to have Nitesh Tiwari and KV Sridhar (Pops) create this iconic film for Building Blocks.”

On making the film for Building Blocks Group, Nitesh said, “The story and the message truly moved me and the subject of empowerment is very close to my heart and coming from partners like BBG & Pops, I simply couldn’t resist. As a filmmaker, I hope the message reaches masses of people and they relate with it.”  

The ad film which is part of a large marketing campaign has been conceptualized by HyperCollective – a collaborative communication, marketing & technology company headed by KV Sridhar(Pops). One of the most celebrated ad-makers of the country with experience of building brands for more than thirty five years, Pops has seen it all.  From being the Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett India to being the Chief Creative Officer of SapientNitro, and now as the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of HyperCollective, Pops has made over more than 3000 ad films while building brands like Coca Cola, ThumsUp, Limca, Mazza, Samsung, LG, GM and many more. That too with India’s biggest superstars including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Chiranjeevi, and Mahesh Babu.
