New Delhi: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region organised its annual meeting alongside ‘The Future India Summit’ on 16 April in New Delhi, under the theme “Navigating Change. Driving Growth.” The summit served as a strategic platform to examine the evolving economic landscape and outline pathways for sustained and inclusive growth.
At its annual regional meeting, CII Northern Region announced new office bearers for 2026–27. Mr Puneet Kaura, Managing Director & CEO, Samtel Avionics, has been elected Chairperson, while Ms Shradha Suri Marwah, Chairperson & Managing Director, Subros Ltd, will serve as Deputy Chairperson. Together, they will steer CII Northern Region across seven states – Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh, and three Union Territories: Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh.
At the meeting, Mr Kaura outlined six strategic priority areas for CII Northern Region in 2026–27: Policy Advocacy; Technology & Innovation Enablement; MSME Growth & Competitiveness; Skill Development; Sustainability & Inclusivity/Community Engagement; and Membership Engagement.
