Cinthol Lime Soap brings freshness to Hyderabad by creating freshness zones at Annapurna Canteens

An innovative consumer initiative as part of ‘Wake Up Alive to a Fresh Hyderabad’ campaign

Hyderabad: Cinthol Lime soap, one of the leading soap brands, with the help of with the help of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), have set up freshness zones at Annapurna Canteens in Hyderabad. As a part of this initiative, freshness zones will enable people to get fresh before they have their meals at Annapurna Canteens. Over 40,000 people is estimated to benefit from this initiative planned for a period of one-month across different parts of the city.

Annapurna Canteens, run by GHMC, provide safe and hygienic afternoon meals at just INR 5 across its 150 centers in Hyderabad. These canteens see an average daily footfall of 700 people per center. The idea behind these freshness zones by Cinthol Lime soap, is to give respite to the canteen visitors, who are usually commuting under the scorching afternoon heat and may not get a chance to freshen up. It also bolsters the traditional belief that one should freshen up by cleaning their face and hands before meals. The freshness zone comprises a kiosk that let people wash their face and hands with water and experience the lemony freshness of Cinthol Lime soap.

Cinthol Lime soap began this initiative by installing freshness zones at two branches of Annapurna Canteen located at Madhapur and Yousufguda. As of now, these zones are at Mathrusree Nagar and Miyapur Crossroad canteens. The freshness zones will be shifted to other branches every week. This facility will be available for the visitors of Annapurna Canteen during the lunch hours from 11.30am till 2.30pm.

Speaking on this initiative, Mr. Sunil Kataria, CEO – India and SAARC, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, said, “We would like to thank the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation for supporting the idea of bringing freshness to citizens at Annapurna Canteens. The freshness zone is an initiative for the people of Hyderabad aiming to make them freshness ready and enhance their experience before meals. Today, Cinthol Lime soap is one of the most preferred and trusted soap brands in Hyderabad. Cinthol Lime has always positioned itself in the realm of freshness and our commitment will be to introduce more such fresh ideas which contribute to the daily life of citizens.”
