Coke Studio Tamil Season 2 looks to vibe with audience pulse

Curated by producer Sean Roldan, the edition will feature 21 artistes from the region including actor-producer Vijay Sethupathi.

Coke Studio Tamil Season 2 looks to vibe with audience pulse

Coca-Cola has announced the second edition of Coke Studio Tamil.

The edition will see over 21 artistes from the region craft nine tracks, curated by producer Sean Roldan. The tracks will be released over the next few months of 2024 on the Coke Studio Tamil YouTube handle. The title track is ‘Idhu Semma Vibe’ (Feeling Awesome).

“Each track in the upcoming season is crafted to accentuate specific feelings that resonate with the pulse of this generation,” informed an official statement.

Arnab Roy, Vice President, of Marketing Coca-Cola India, and South West Asia, said, “Coke Studio Tamil Season 1 was a celebration of the plurality of Tamil music and a successful vernacular IP. Coke Studio Tamil Season 2 has songs around relevant themes for the youth with an immersive story world that we hope the viewers would enjoy.”

The roster of artistes includes actor and producer Vijay Sethupathi; actor and musician GV Prakash Kumar; Arivu & The AmbassA, band; singer and actor Andrea Jeremiah; actor  and singer Aditi Rao Hydari; music director, and composer Girishh Gopalakrishnan; emerging indie-pop artiste Yanchan; hip-hop artiste Asal Kolaar; international YouTube star Vidya Vox; playback singer Rajalakshmi; Carnatic music artiste Sanjay Subrahmanyan; rap artiste Navz-47; music composer Justin Prabhakaran; playback singer Sithara Krishnakumar; singer Kapil Kapilan; singer and lyricist Arun Raja; playback singer R K Adithya; singer and actor Sivaangi Krishnakumar; and recording artist Sathyaprakash Dharmar.

Coke Studio Tamil Season 2 tracks will be available on OTT platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Gaana, Saavn, Wynk Music and Audible.

A Coke Studio Tamil YouTube Hub will offer behind the music and behind-the-scenes visuals.
