Mumbai : ‘Farah Ki daawat’, as the title suggests, the show will be hosted by Farah Khan, who was also seen hosting ‘Bigg Boss- Halla Bol’ on Colors. The channel is set to test the cullinary skills of Bollywood stars in this show.
It is a cooking-based chat show which delves into multiple elements of the lives of celebrities encompassing their food journeys, quirks, secrets and guilty food pleasures.
Starting 22nd February, the show will be aired on every Sunday at 8 pm. It is an open slot on the channel. Previously, Colors has aired shows like ‘Mission Sapne’ and ‘The Anupam Kher Show – Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai’ on the same slot.
With Farah Ki Daawat, the channel is expanding its Sunday programming line-up. The show will be followed by Rohit Shetty-hosted ‘Fear Factor-Khatron Ke Khiladi’ and Kapil Sharma’s ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’.
Farah Ki Daawat will feature celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan, Yuvraj Singh, Kapil Sharma, Malaika Arora Khan, Sania Mirza and Karan Johar. The show will be created and produced by Wizcraft International Entertainment.

Every episode will provide a glimpse into some celebrity kitchen to pull out a recipe which brings comfort to our favourite stars from their hectic schedules. While Khan and the celebrity relive some special memories, each episode will also feature guests who will play multiple roles including those of a sous-chefs and challengers to raise the entertainment quotient.

Colors had roped in Videocon as the presenting sponsor of the show. Powered by Sponsor Mahakosh Cooking Oil, Everest Masala is the taste partner. The channel has got on board Kenstar as an associate sponsor. As per the sources in the industry, the channel is asking for around Rs 1,10,000 for 10 second ad spot.
