Mumbai : It was a special day at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today as India’s No. 1 Business news channel ET NOW invited Dr. Habil Khorakiwala, Chairman- Wockhardt Group. to ring the bell in order to mark the opening of the market proceedings at Dalal Street.
Speaking on his experience of ringing the gong at the Bombay Stock Exchange, Mr. Habil Khorakiwala said, “This is my first time at the opening bell session of Bombay Stock Exchange and it’s indeed a great pleasure, for me, to ring this bell.”
The ‘BSE Day Live with ET NOW’ completes its 5th run in Oct ’15 and channel marked the occasion by calling Dr. Khorakiwala, a veteran from the field of pharma and healthcare to do the honors. He joins the list of other industry luminaries to be invited by ET NOW such as Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairman, SBI and Keki Mistry Vice Chairman and CEO, HDFC who have had the privilege of ringing the bell at the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The exercise started off in July 2015 where Arnab Goswami President – News and Editor-in-Chief, TIMES NOW & ET NOW became the first journalist to ring the bell at BSE.
