Chennai: Express Network Private Limited, the digital arm of The New Indian Express Group, has launched “Cyber Shield 360°”, a comprehensive initiative aimed at promoting cyber safety, responsible digital practices, and online security literacy among internet users.
The program seeks to educate students, professionals, and individuals about growing digital threats—including phishing, data theft, and online fraud—while empowering them with the knowledge to safeguard their digital identities. Express Network Private Limited acknowledged the support of partners Indian Overseas Bank, Tamil Nadu State Cooperative Bank (TNSC Bank), and S.A. College of Arts & Science, whose collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building a safer digital ecosystem.
Speaking about the initiative, Siddharth Sonthalia, M.D., ENPL, and C. Udayakumar, Sr. GM – Head Digital, Express Network Private Limited, said, “Cyber Shield 360° is our step toward building a cyber-resilient society. With the increasing digitization of our lives, awareness and education are the first shields of protection. We are thankful to our sponsors and partners for joining hands in this cause.”
Encouraged by a strong response, Express Network Private Limited plans to establish Cyber Shield 360° as an annual IP event, expanding its reach through workshops, expert interactions, and digital campaigns across platforms in the coming years.
