FITPASS, the leading fitness membership marketplace, has announced a major expansion of its leadership and operations teams, aiming to enhance the aggregation and standardization of gyms and fitness centers across India. The company plans to extend its reach to 500 cities by mid-2026, driven by a strategic hiring initiative to bolster its core verticals—network expansion, monetization, sales, and category growth.
Avnish Sharma has been appointed Vice President of Network Growth & Monetisation. With over 14 years of experience at Paytm and Practo, Sharma will spearhead FITPASS’s expansion into tier 2 and tier 3 cities, focusing on profitability and revenue optimization.
Preeti Singh joins as AVP of Growth and Alliance (Corporate Sales), bringing over a decade of experience in corporate sales and benefits consulting from organizations like HCL Tech and Via.com. Singh will work alongside Mohit Dang, Vice President of Revenue & Partnerships (Corporate Sales), to enhance FITPASS’s corporate partnerships and market penetration.
The expansion also includes several new key hires:
- Manish Prajapati, appointed AVP of Network Growth and Monetisation, will collaborate with Sharma. Prajapati’s background with Apollo and Practo will be pivotal in scaling FITPASS’s network.
- Rishabh Tiwari comes on board as Senior Manager of Network Growth and Monetisation, bringing nine years of market analysis and strategic planning experience to support FITPASS’s expansion strategy.
- Savneet Kau: joins as Senior Sales Manager (Corporate Sales), with nine years of experience from Cure.fit and ITC Fortune, to accelerate sales growth and support FITPASS’s aggressive expansion goals.
- Yusuf Ahmed is the new Category Manager, leveraging his decade of experience with fitness brands like Cure.fit and Gold’s Gym to keep FITPASS at the cutting edge of industry trends.
This expanded team aims to grow FITPASS’s network to over 10,000 locations by the end of 2025 and extend its presence to 1,500-1,600 PIN codes. The focus is not only on expansion but also on driving profitability and staying ahead of industry trends.
“Our team’s expansion reflects our unwavering commitment to revolutionizing the fitness industry in India,” said Akshay Verma, Co-founder of FITPASS. “With our new leaders on board, we are well-positioned to scale rapidly, particularly in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
